I was literally born to play music. My mother, a Broadway pianist, was taken out of the pit to have me. Two weeks later, I was in a crib next to her while she played the show. I've been playing in bands since I about age 10. As an adult, I've worked for A&M records and "Billy Elliot". I've written a couple of hundred songs and the scores to two produced musicals. You want irony? The two musicals are: "Die Motherfucker Die" by Ernest Hemmings and "The Jewelers Shop" by Pope John Paul ll You read that right. My wife, Carole, is a comedian. My son, Layne, is a musician. We're all about timing.
