Formed by Glenn Raucher and Jason Staal in 2003, Home to Henry are a New York based Americana Power-Pop band, whose dynamic music and intelligent lyrics are garnering a following across the region. They have released Lost and Found, the long-awaited follow-up to their debut record, Another Life on November 16, 2011. Featuring 8 songs, including “Pay Phone,” “Love & Affection,” “The Almost Pretty Women” and “Four Kids,” Lost and Found extends their previous work, refined and clear, rough-hewn and earthy. The band recorded and released their debut CD Another Life in 2006. Their song “Tethered” was chosen for inclusion on Shut Eye Records’ “United State of Americana, Volume 6.” They were also three times awarded honorable mention in Billboard Magazine’s “Song of The Year” contest for their songs “Tina,” “Feels Like Winter” and “Tethered.” Hearkening back to classic bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks and The Who, as well as “misunderstood” pop legends like Big Star (whose “September Gurls” the band covered on their follow up session to Another Life) and Richard Thompson, to modern alternative bands like R.E.M., Toad the Wet Sprocket, Elvis Costello and The Attractions, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, Death Cab for Cutie, The Frames and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers,.Home to Henry are a dynamic rock band, creating intelligent, original music for intelligent, original people… Guitarist Todd Montgomery, bassist Lenny Trinceri and drummer Mike Boyer round out the current and finest incarnation of the group.
